Hi, I’m Taiylor!

Holistic Transplant Doula, Patient Advocate, Educator

I know what it’s like to live tethered to a machine. To wait for an organ. To rebuild your life and your identity after transplant.

I’ve navigated kidney disease, dialysis, and kidney transplant. I’ve felt the grief, the anger, the fear. I’ve experienced the gaps in the medical system; the moments when clinical care ends but the human experience continues. I’ve also discovered the power of integrative health, embodiment, and reclaiming agency over my own healing.

Chronic Alchemy was born from that experience. It’s the community and support I needed when I was going through it, and the work I now offer to others walking this path.

My approach is rooted in integrative health sciences, lived experience, and heart-centered care. I believe healing is not linear. I believe the body is not broken, it’s communicating. And I believe advocacy is an act of love (and sometimes good trouble).

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me studying alternative medicine, paddleboarding, thrifting, practicing yoga, and spending time with my family. I’m a wife, a full-time stepmom of two, the eldest daughter, granddaughter, niece, and cousin; all roles that teach me patience, perspective, and connection every day. One of my tattoos, Be Love, is a daily reminder of the work I aim to bring into everything I do.

What I Bring

Through Chronic Alchemy, I create educational resources, workshops, and speaking engagements that center the human inside the patient. My work supports women navigating chronic illness, transplant life, and the medical system with tools grounded in integrative health, nervous system care, and embodiment.

I also serve as the Secretary and Holistic Practitioner at Well House, Inc; a non-profit organization dedicated to holistic health and community wellness.

Core Beliefs

Healing is not linear, and that’s okay.

Your body is not broken, it’s communicating.

You are not just a patient. You are a whole person.

Advocacy is an act of love for yourself and others.

Integrative health and clinical care can coexist.
